Born in January 12th, 1979, Dr. Rhoda Makinde attended CMS Girls Grammar School, Lagos in 1995 before proceeding to Ogun State University, Sagamu where she bagged a Diploma in Applied Biochemistry in January, 1997. Dr. Rhoda Makinde after that Proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo College of Health Sciences, Ogun State, for her Bachelor of Science in Medicine and Surgery, where she received her MBChB in June, 2005 and has since been a licensed Physician. Dr. Makinde further completed some Certificate programs in Harvard University, USA such as EDX Program on Ebola: Preventing the Next Pandemic (Received February 2016) EDX Program Global Health: Improving Global Health: Focusing on Quality and Safety, (Received September 2017).
Rhoda is a medical Doctor and Director of Hopeline Health Services in Maryland, United States, Rhoda had spent the last ten years developing and overseeing Operational Medical Systems for the Organization’s Home and Community based waiver services a Medical Outpatient Program.
Highlights of her career include being able to develop and oversees her organization’s State Health Plan Initiative which is responsible for the recruitment of Medical Specified in the Department of Health Certificate of Need requirements. Dr Rhoda Makinde was honored with an Honourary Degree from Global Oved Dei Seminary and University (GODSU) as a result of her humanitarian services.
Dr. Rhoda Makinde is the founder of DROMI (Dr. Rhoda Makinde Initiative) in Nigeria; Spurred by burning desire to lift women out of poverty and improve their live, Dr. Rhoda Makinde founded the initiative Dr. Rhoda Makinde Initiative (RDROMI) in December 2017. DROMI was founded with a clearly defined mission to promote gender relevant, financially stable and be able to contribute meaningfully to their families and the society.
